The session Self-Care for Home Visitors will discuss the concept of reflective practice (RP), and how home visitors can use reflective practice, as well as reflective consultation, as a strategy for self-care. The act of reflection is a great way to increase confidence and become a more proactive and qualified professional. This experiential session will include a live experience of reflection with guidance.

Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) is a short-term, specialized behavior management program for young children experiencing behavioral and/or emotional difficulties. PCIT works with the child and caregiver to improve overall behavior and to reduce parenting stress. This break-out session will give a brief overview of the PCIT model, including when to refer, and what to expect when participating in PCIT.
